Museum in a Day
In this project two exhibitioners went about attempting to create a virtual museum in less than 12 hours. Their blog tells alot about their process, what they set out to accomplish, and how much they got done. Below is a powerpoint presentation about how they though about the implementation of online exhibition tools such as Omeka in museums. Good combination about the value added by putting collections online, the perception of digital media in different strata of society, the political economic challenges that museums face in implementation, and the benefits of different platforms.
